Title: Of Contempts of the Lawful Authority of Public Servants

Title: Provisions as to Exemption from Duty of Excise or Fixing Rate of Such Duty Under Certain Central Laws and Validation

(4) Every notification or order granting any exemption or fixing a rate of duty issued or made under the Central Excises Act or the rules made there under at any time whatsoever before the 24th day of September, 1982 shall have, and shall be deemed always to have had, effect for all purposes as if the foregoing provisions of this section had been in force at all material times and accordingly, notwithstanding anything contained in any judgment, decree or order of any court, tribunal or other authority, any action or thing taken or done, or purporting to have been taken or done, under the Central Excises Act or the said rules or any Central law in any case by virtue of such notification or order shall be deemed to be, and to have always been, for all purposes as validly and effectively taken or done as if the foregoing provisions of this section had been in force at all material times, and, notwithstanding anything as aforesaid and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing,-- (a) all duties of excise levied, assessed or collected with respect to any goods under the Central Excises Act or the said rules or any Central law shall be deemed to.....

Bombay Extension of Laws to Non-scheduled (Partially Excluded) Areas Act, 1954, (Maharashtra) Section 2

Title: Extension of Laws to Certain Areas

(1) All the Acts specified in the First Schedule and so much of the Acts specified in the Second Schedule as relates to matters with respect to which the State Legislature has power to make laws are hereby extended to, and shall be in force in, the areas specified in the Fourth Schedule (hereinafter referred to as the said areas). (2) So much of the amendments made in the principal Acts specified in column 1 of the Third Schedule by the Acts specified in column 2 thereof as relates to matters with respect to which the State Legislature has powers to make laws shall be deemed to have been made in the said principal Acts with effect from the date on which this Act comes into force and on and from the said date the principal Acts as to amended shall have effect in the said areas. (3) All appointments, delegations, rules, regulations, by-laws, notifications, orders, schemes and forms made or is sued or deemed to have been made or issued under the said Acts and in force shall be deemed to extend to, and be in force in, the said areas until repealed, modified or revised by any competent authority.

Merged States ( Laws ) Act, 1949 Section 3

Title: Extension of Laws

(1) The Acts, Ordinances and Regulation specified in the Schedule are hereby extended to, and shall be in force in, all the new provinces. (2) So much of any of the Acts, Ordinances and Regulation specified in the Schedule as extends to any absorbing Province and relates to matters with respect to which the Dominion Legislature has power to make laws for a Governors Province is hereby extended to and shall be in force in, all the merged States which are no administered as part of that provinces. (3) If any of the said Acts, Ordinances and regulation as in force in any absorbing Province immediately before the commencement of this Act is subject to any amendments made by the Legislature of that Province, that Act, Ordinance or Regulation shall be deemed to be extended to, and to be in force in, all the merged states which are now administered as part of that Provinces, subject to so much of the said amendments as relate to matters with respect to which the Dominion Legislature has power to make laws for a Governor's Provinces./
