Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Repeal Act, 1999 Section 5

Title : Repeal and Saving

(1) The Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Repeal Ordinance, 1999 (Ord. 5 of 1999) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act. Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006 Section 5

Title : Custody and Maintenance of Children of Child Marriages

(1) Where there are children born of the child marriage, the district court shall make an appropriate order for the custody of such children. (2) While making an order for the custody of a child under this section, the welfare and best interests of the child shall be the paramount consideration to be given by the district court. (3) An order for custody of a child may also include appropriate directions for giving to the other party access to the child in such a manner as may best serve the interests of the child, and such other orders as the district court may, in the interest of the child, deem proper. (4) The district court may also make an appropriate order for providing maintenance to the child by a party to the marriage or their parents or guardians. Esso (Acquisition of Undertakings in India) Act, 1974 Section 5

Title : Central Government to Be Lessee or Tenant Under Certain Circumstances

(1) Where any property is held in India by Esso under any lease or under any right of tenancy the Central Government shall, on and from the appointed day, be deemed to have become the lessee or tenant, as the case may be, in respect of such property as if the lease or tenancy in relation to such property had been granted to the Central Government, and thereupon all the rights under such lease or tenancy shall be deemed to have been transferred to and vested in the Central Government. (2) On the expiry of the term of any lease or tenancy referred to in sub-section (1), such lease or tenancy shall, if so desired by the Central Government be renewed on the same terms and conditions on which the lease or tenancy was held by Esso immediately before the appointed day. Dock Workers (Safety, Health and Welfare) Act, 1986 Section 5

Title : Powers of Inspectors Where Employment of Dock Workers Are Dangerous

(1) If it appears to an Inspector that any place at which any dock work is being carried on is in such a condition that it is dangerous to life, safety or health, of dock workers, he may, in writing, serve on the owner or on the person in charge of such place an order prohibiting any dock work in such place until measures have been taken to remove the cause of the danger to his satisfaction.
