An Act to provide for the consolidation of agricultural holdings and for preventing the fragmentation of agricultural holdings in the State of Himachal Pradesh and for the assignment or reservation of land for common purposes of the village. Whereas it is expedient to regulate to the rights and liabilities of agricultural tenants and their landlords in temporarily settled lands in the State of Assam; It is hereby enacted in the twenty-second year of the Republic of India as follows" ___________________________ Received the assent of the President on the 3rd December, 1971. "€ WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1963, for the purposes hereinafter appearing; BE it enacted in the Twenty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows: "€ 1 . Short title and commencement . "€(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Land Reforms (Amendment) Act, 1971. (9) Every person who, being a person deemed to have been allocated to the Union under section 64, is borne on a Select List for promotion to the Assam cadre of an All-India Service immediately before the appointed day, shall be deemed to have been included in the Select List for promotion to the Union Territories cadre of the same Service and his position in the said Select List shall be determined by the Central Government in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission.
