Title: Establishment of Board and their Functions

.....or any member thereof if he (a) is or becomes subject to any disqualifications specified in section 16; or (b) refuses to act or is incapable of acting or acts in a manner which the State Government, after hearing any explanation that he may offer, considers to be prejudicial to the interests of the wakfs; or (c) fails in the opinion of the Board, to attend three consecutive meetings of the Board, without sufficient excuse. (2) Where the Chairperson of the Board is removed under sub-section (1), he shall also cease to be a member of the Board. Section 21 - Pilling of a vacancy When the seat of a member becomes vacant by his removal, resignation, death or otherwise, a new member shall be appointed in his place and such member shall hold office so long as the member whose place he fills would have been entitled to hold office, if such vacancy had not occurred. Section 22 - Vacancies etc., not to invalidate proceedings of the Board No act or proceeding of the Board shall be invalid by reason only of the existence of any vacancy amongst its members or any defect in the constitution thereof. Delhi Rent Act, 1995 Chapter IV

Title: Protection of Tenants Against Eviction

.....as the case may be, to indicate the dwelling house possession of which he intended to recover. Explanation.-- For the purposes of this sub-section, sections 24, 25 and 26, immediate possession shall mean possession recoverable on the expiry of sixty days from the date of order of eviction.(2) Where a landlord exercises the right of recovery conferred on him by sub-section (1) or section 22, 24, 25 or 26 and he had received,-- (a) any rent in advance from the tenant, he shall, within a period of ninety days from the dale of recovery of possession of the premises by him, refund to the tenant such amount as represents the rent payable for the unexpired portion of the contract, agreement or lease; (b) any other payment, he shall, within the period aforesaid, refund to the tenant a sum which shall bear the same proportion to the total amount so received, as the unexpired portion of the contract, agreement or lease bears to the total period of contract, agreement or lease: Provided that, if any default is made in making any refund as aforesaid, the landlord shall be liable to pay simple interest at the rate of fifteen per cent. per annum on the amount which he has.....

Wakf Act, 1995 Section 4

Title: Preliminary Survey of Wakfs

(5) If, during any such inquiry, any dispute arises as to whether a particular wakf is a Shia wakf or Sunni wakf and there are clear indications in the deed of wakf as to its nature, the dispute shall be decided on the basis of such deed. (6) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct the Survey Commissioner to make a second or subsequent survey of wakf properties in the State and the provisions of sub-sections (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall apply to such survey as they apply to a survey directed under sub-section (1): Provided that no such second or subsequent survey shall be made until the expiry of a period of twenty years from the date on which the report in relation to the immediately previous survey was submitted under sub-section (3).

Title: General Effect of Vesting

.....and all other documents of whatever nature relating thereto and shall also be deemed to include the liabilities and obligations specified in sub-section (2) of section 5. (2) All property as aforesaid which have vested in the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 3 shall, by force of such vesting be freed and discharged from any trust, obligation mortgage, charge, lien and all other incumbrances affecting it, and any attachment, injunction or decree or order of any Court or other authority restricting the use of such property in any manner shall be deemed to have been withdrawn. (3) Where any licence or other instrument in relation to a textile undertaking had been granted at any time before the appointed day to the owner by the Central Government or a State Government or any other authority, the National Textile Corporation shall on and from such date, be deemed to be substituted in such licence or other instrument in place of the owner referred to therein as if such licence or such other instrument had been granted to it and shall hold such licence or the textile undertaking specified in such other instrument for the remainder of the period for which the.....

State Commission for Women Act, 1995 Chapter IV

Title: Finance, Accounts and Audit

.....thinks fit for performing the functions under this Act, and such sums shall be treated as expenditure payable out of the grants referred to in sub-section (2). Section 13 - Accounts and audit (1) Accounts of the income and expenditure of the Commission shall be kept in such form as may be prescribed. (2) The Commission shall prepare an annual statement of accounts in such form as may be prescribed. (3) The Accounts of the Commission shall be audited annually by such auditor as the Government may appoint in this behalf. (4) The auditor shall for the purposes of the audit, have access to all the accounts and other records of the Commission. (5) The Commission shall pay out of the grants such charges for the audit, as may be prescribed. (6) As soon as may be, after the receipt of the report of the auditor, the Commission shall send a copy of the annual statement of accounts together with a copy of the report of the auditor to the Government and shall cause to be published the annual statement of account in such manner as may be prescribed. (7) The Government may, after perusal of the report of the auditor give such directions, as it thinks fit, to the Commission.....

Title: Term of Office and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and Members

Title: Registration of Tenancy Agreements

.....the Registration Act, 1908(16 of 1908), within such period as may be prescribed and for this purpose the agreement shall be deemed to be a document for which registration is compulsory under section 17 of the said Act. (3) Where, in relation to a tenancy created before the commencement of this Act.-- (a) an agreement in writing was entered into and was not registered under the Registration Act, 1908(16 of 1908), the landlord and the tenant shall jointly present a copy thereof for registration before the registering officer under the said Act; (b) no agreement in writing was entered into, the landlord and the tenant shall enter into an agreement in writing with regard to that tenancy and present the same for registration before the registering officer under the said Act: Provided that where the landlord and the tenant fail to present jointly a copy of tenancy agreement under clause (a) or fail to reach an agreement under clause (b) such landlord and the tenant shall separately file the particulars about such tenancy with the prescribed authority in such form and in such manner and within such period as may be prescribed.
