.....APPELLATE DIVISION OF HIGH COURTS ACT, 2015 THE COMMERCIAL COURTS, COMMERCIAL DIVISION & COMMERCIAL APPELLATE DIVISION OF HIGH COURTS ACT, 2015 NO. 4 OF 2016 An Act to provide for the constitution of Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division in the High Courts for adjudicating commercial disputes of specified value and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 23rd day of October, 2015. Definitions. 2. (1) In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) Commercial Appellate Division means the Commercial Appellate Division in a High Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 5; (b) Commercial Court means the Commercial Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 3; (c) commercial dispute .....

Title: Jurisdiction of Civil Courts Barred

No civil court (other than High Court under article 226 or article 227 of the Constitution or the Supreme Court) shall have jurisdiction to entertain any dispute relating to land acquisition in respect of which the Collector or the Authority is empowered by or under this Act, and no injunction shall be granted by any court in respect of any such matter.

Title: Special Powers in Case of Urgency to Acquire Land in Certain Cases

.....Government, the provisions of sub-section (1), sub-section (2) or sub-section (3) are applicable, the appropriate Government may direct that any or all of the provisions of Chapter II to Chapter VI shall not apply, and, if it does so direct, a declaration may be made under section 19 in respect of the land at any time after the date of the publication of the preliminary notification under sub-section (1) of section 11. (5) An additional compensation of seventy-five per cent. of the total compensation as determined under section 27. shall be paid by the Collector in respect of land and property for acquisition of which proceedings have been initiated under sub-section (1) of this section: Provided that no additional compensation will be required to be paid in case the project is one that affects the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security and strategic interests of the State or relations with foreign States.

In section 14 of the principal Act,-- (I) in sub-section (1),-- (i) for the words "the Union territory of Delhi", wherever they occur, the words "the National Capital Territory of Delhi" shall be substituted; (ii) in clause (b),-- (a) for sub-clause (iii), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:-- "(iii) Muslim members of the Bar Council of the concerned State or Union territory: Provided that in case there is no Muslim member of the Bar Council of a State or a Union territory, the State Government or the Union territory administration, as the case may be, may nominate any senior Muslim advocate from that State or the Union territory, and"; (b) after sub-clause (iv), the following Explanations shall be inserted, namely:-- "Explanation I.--For the removal of doubts, it is hereby declared that the members from categories mentioned in sub-clauses (i) to (iv), shall be elected from the electoral college constituted for each category.
