Title : Fund of Institute

(1) The Institute shall maintain a fund to which shall be credited-- (a) all moneys provided by the Central Government; (b) all fees and other charges; (c) all moneys received by the Institute by way of grants, gifts, donations, benefactions, bequests or transfers; and (d) all moneys received by the Institute in any other manner or from any other source. (2) All moneys credited to the fund shall be deposited in such banks or invested in such manner as may be decided by the Board. (3) The fund shall be applied towards meeting the expenses of the Institute including expenses incurred in the exercise of its powers and discharge of its duties under this Act. Title : Pension and Provident Fund

(1) The Institute shall constitute for the benefit of its employees, including the Director, such pension, insurance and provident fund scheme as it deems fit, in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be provided by the Statutes. (2) Where any such provident fund has been so constituted, the Central Government may declare that the provisions of the Provident Funds Act, 1925 shall apply to such fund as if it were a Government provident fund. (1) The constitution of the Court and the term of office of its members shall be prescribed by the Statutes: Provided that the Court shall have adequate number of members from amongst the Scheduled Tribes: Provided further that such number of members as may be prescribed by the Statutes shall be elected from among the teachers, employees and students of the University. Title : The Academic Council

(1) The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances, coordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University. Title : Right to Appeal

Every employee or student of the University or of a College or Institution maintained by the University or admitted to its privileges shall, notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, have a right to appeal within such time as may be prescribed by the Statutes, to the Executive Council against the decision of any officer or authority of the University or of the Principal or the management of any College or an Institution, as the case may be, and thereupon the Executive Council may confirm, modify or reverse the decision appealed against. Title : Provident and Pension Funds

(1) The University shall constitute for the benefit of its employees such provident or pension fund or provide such insurance schemes as it may deem fit in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) Where such provident fund or pension fund has been so constituted, the Central Government may declare that the provisions of the Provident Funds Act, 1925, shall apply to such fund, as if it were a Government provident fund.
