.....satisfied that- (i) the newspaper, in respect of which the declaration has been made is being published in contravention of the provisions of this Act or rules made thereunder; or (ii) the newspaper, mentioned in the declaration bears a title which is the same s, or similar to, that of any other newspaper published either in the same language or in the same State; or (iii) the printer or publisher has ceased to be the printer or publisher of the newspaper mentioned in such declaration.or (iv) the declaration was made on false representation or on the concealment of any material fact or in respect of periodical work which is not a newspaper; the Magistrate may, by order, cancel the declaration and shall forward s soon as possible a copy of the order to the person making or subscribing the declaration and also to the Press Registrar. 8C.Appeal.-(1) Any person aggrieved by an order of a Magistrate refusing to authenticate a declaration under section 6 or cancelling a declaration under section 8B may, within sixty days from the date on which such order is communicated to him, prefer an appeal to the Appellate Board to be called the Press and Registration Appellate Board.....

ACTING JUDGES ACT, 1867 ACTING JUDGES ACT, 1867 (16 of 1867) 1st March, 1867 An Act to authorize the making of acting appointment to certain Judicial Offices. Preamble. Whereas, the Governor-General of India in Council or the Local Government, as the case may be, is empowered by diverse enactments to appoint the Judges of certain Courts b[* * *]; And whereas it has been doubted whether he or it is empowered to appoint persons to act temporarily as such Judges, and it is expedient to remove such doubts; It is hereby enacted as follows :-This Act has been declared, by notification under S. 3(a) of the Scheduled Districts Act, 1874(XIV of 1874), to be in force in the following Scheduled Districts, namely:- The Districts of Hazaribagh, Lohardaga (now the Ranchi District, see Calcutta Gazette, 1899, Pt. I, p. 44), and Manbhum, and Pargana Dhalbhum and the Kolhan in the Districts of Singbhum - See Gazette of India, 1881, Pt. I, p. 504. This Act has been extended to the new Provinces and Merged States by the Merged States (Laws) Act (59 of 1949), S. 3 (1-1-1950) and to the States of Manipur, Tripura and Vindhya Pradesh by the Union Territories (Laws) Act (30 of 1950), S. 3.....
