International, Airports Authority Act, 1971 Complete Act

.....or such other member or such officer of the Authority as may be generally or specially empowered in this behalf by the Authority and such contracts or class of contracts as may be specified in the regulations shall be sealed with the common seal of the Authority: Provided that no contract exceeding such value or amount as the Central Government may, from time to time, by order, fix in this behalf shall be made unless it has been previously approved by the Authority: Provided further that no contract for the acquisition or sale of immovable property or for the lease of any such property for a term exceeding thirty years and no other contract exceeding such value or amount as the Central Government may, from time to time, by order, fix in this behalf shall bemade unless it has been previously approved by the Central Government. (2), Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the form and manner in which any contract shall be made under this Act shall be such as may be prescribed by regulations. THE HARYANA PREVENTION OF BEGGARY ACT, 1971 THE HARYANA PREVENTION OF BEGGARY ACT, 1971 (Haryana Act no. 9 of 1971) [Received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 15th of March, 1971 and first published in the Haryana Government Gazette (Extraordinary), of March 18, 1971] An Act to provide for the prevention of begging, detention, training and employment of beggars and their dependents in Certified Institution and the custody, trial and punishment of beggar offenders. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Twenty-second Year of the Republic of India, as follows: " 1. Short title, extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Haryana Prevention of Beggary Act, 1971 (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Haryana. (3) It shall come into force in any area of the State, on such date or dates as the State Government may by notification appoint in this behalf for that area. 2. Definitions. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, " (a) "beggar" means any person who is found begging; (b) "begging" means" (i) soliciting or receiving alms in a public place whether or not under any pretence,.....

THE MADURAI CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 1971 (TAMIL NADU ACT XV of 1971) THE MADURAI CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 1971 (TAMIL NADU ACT XV of 1971) An Act to provide for the establishment of Municipal Corporation for the City of Madurai in the State of Tamil Nadu. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Tamil Nadu in the Twenty Second Year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER " I PRELIMINARY 1. SHORT, TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT : (1) This Act may be called The Madurai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1971. NOTES The said Act and the Madras District Municipalities Act, 1920 have very many identical provisions. See 95 L.W. 324. (2) It extends to the City of Madurai (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of May, 1971. 2. General Insurance (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1971 [Repealed] Section 15

Nothing contained in this Act shall apply to- (a) any insurer whose business is being voluntarily wound up or is being wound, up by a Court; (b) any insurer to whom the Insurance Act does not apply by reason of the provisions contained in section 2Ethereof; (c) the Calcutta Hospital and Nursing Home Benefit Association Limited; (d) the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation; (e) the Deposit Insurance Scheme; (f) any scheme of insurance which might be exempted by the Central Government relating to - (i) crop and cattle, (ii) war risks, (iii) emergency risks; (g) general insurance business carried on by a State Government or by the Life Insurance Corporation of India.
