.....the appellant first deposits with the Chief Executive Officer the amount which has been determined under sub-section (3) as being payable by the appellant and the Tribunal shall have no power to make any order staying pending the disposal of the appeal, the operation of the order made by the Chief Executive Officer under sub-section (3). (5) The Tribunal may, after taking such evidence as it may think fit, confirm, reverse or modify the order made by the Chief Executive Officer under sub-section (3) or may remit, either in whole or in part, the amount specified in such order and may make such orders as to costs as it may think appropriate in the circumstances of the case. (6) The order made by the Tribunal under sub-section (5) shall be final.

Title: Where Intestate Leaves Lineal Descendants Not All in Same Degree of Kindred to Him, and Those Through Whom the More Remote Are Descended Are Dead

(1) If the intestate has left lineal descendants who do not all stand in the same degree of kindred to him, and the persons through whom the more remote are descended from him are dead, the property shall be divided into such a number of equal shares as may correspond with the number of the lineal descendants of the intestate who either stood in the nearest degree of kindred to him at his decease, or, having been of the like degree of kindred to him, died before him, leaving lineal descendants who survived him. (2) One of such shares shall be allotted to each of the lineal descendants who stood in the nearest degree of kindred to the intestate at his decease; and one of such shares shall be allotted in respect of each of such deceased lineal descendants; and the share allotted in respect of each of such deceased lineal descendants shall belong to his surviving child or children or more remote lineal descendants, as the case may be; such surviving child or children or more remote lineal descendants always taking the share which his or their parent or parents would have been entitled to respectively if such parent or parents had survived the intestate. Title: Liability of a Jagirdar or Cadet to Pay to Government Amounts Recovered or Received by Him from Permanent Holders Etc., in Certain Cases and Determination of Such Amount

.....in a Jagir village within his local jurisdiction, the Jagirdar or cadet has failed to pay to the State Government the amount payable by him under sub-section (1) [3][or subsection (1A),] he shall hold a summary inquiry in the manner provided in the Code and decide whether the Jagirdar or cadet has failed to pay the amount to the State Government, and if so, determine the amount to be recovered from the Jagirdar or cadet under sub-section (2). The amount so determined shall thereupon be recovered accordingly. (4) It shall be lawful for the Collector to deduct from the amount of compensation, which may be awarded to such Jagirdar or cadet under Sections 11, 12 or 14, the amount payable by him to the State Government under this Section. Title: Power of Commission to Suspend Member of Recognised Association or to Prohibit Him from Trading

.....for the time being in force or in the rules or bye-laws of a recognised association, the Commission may, alter giving an opportunity of being heard, by order suspend his membership of any association or prohibit him from entering into any such contract. (2) An order under sub-section (1) shall specify the period for which the suspension or prohibition is to have effect and such period may be extended from time to time but so as not to exceed three years in the aggregate. (3) No order made under sub-section (1) in respect of any member of a recognised association shall affect the validity of any [forward contract] entered into or made by, with or through such member on or before the date of such order and remaining to be performed on or after the said date; but the Commission may make such provision as it deems fit in such order or in any subsequent order for the closing out of any such [forward contract]. _______________________________ 1. Title: Farmer May Apply to Collector to Recover Amounts Due to Him

When any amount is due to 1 any farmer of the right of drawing toddy from any person who has drawn toddy from any toddy-producing tree, such farmer may apply to the Collector to recover such amount on his behalf and the Collector may in his discretion, recover such amount as if it were an arrear of land revenue, and shall pay any amount so recovered to the applicant: Provided that the execution of any process issued by the Collector for the recovery of such amount shall be stayed if the person from whom it is sought to recover the same institutes a suit in the Civil Court to try the demand of the farmer, and furnishes security to the satisfaction of the Collector for the payment of the amount which the Court may adjudge to be due from him to such farmer : Provided also that nothing contained in this section or done there under shall affect the right of any such farmer to recover by suit in the Civil Court or otherwise any amount due to him from any such person as aforesaid. ______________ 1.
