No.32, page 62, dated February 9, 2012). An Act further to amend the. Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1976. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:" 1. Short title and commencement. " (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Amendment Act, 2012. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of Section 4." In Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1976 (President's Act 25 of 1976), in sub-section (1), for the expression "thirty five years and eight months", the expression "thirty six years and two months" shall be substituted.
