THE1[KARNATAKA] SHOPS AND COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS ACT, 19612 [ACT, No. 8 of 1962] [15th February, 1962] PREAMBLE An Act to provide for the regulation of conditions of work and employment in shops and commercial establishments. WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the regulation of conditions of work and employment in shops and commercial establishments and other incidental matters; BE it enacted by the1[Karnataka State] Legislature in the Twelfth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- _____________________ 1. (4) The State Government shall constitute a Coordination Forum consisting of the Chairperson of the State Commission and Members thereof representatives of the generating companies, transmission licensee and distribution licensees engaged in generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in that State for smooth and coordinated development of the power system in the State.
