Nothing in this Act shall affect any proceeding which at the commencement thereof is pending in respect of any of the territory mentioned in Schedule A, and every such proceeding shall be continued as if this Act had been not passed: Provided that all proceedings which at the commencement of this Act are pending before the Commissioner of the Division or any other authority within the territory mentioned in Schedule A shall be transferred to, and disposed of by, such authorities in the1[State] of Delhi as the1[State] Government may, by notification in the2[Official Gazette,) direct. _________________________ 1. .....entitled to practice or an attorney entitled to act in the High Court at Madras shall be recognised as an advocate or an attorney entitled to practise or to act, as the case may be, in the High Court of Andhra. SECTION 32: PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE IN ANDHRA HIGH COURT Subject to the provisions of this Part, the law in force immediately before the prescribed day with respect to practice and procedure in the High Court at Madras shall, with the necessary modifications, apply in relation to the High Court of Andhra and accordingly that High Court shall have all such powers to make rules and orders with respect to practice and procedure as are immediately before the prescribed day exercisable by the High Court at Madras: Provided that any rules or orders which are in force immediately before the prescribed day with respect to practice and procedure in the High Court at Madras shall, until varied or revoked by rules or orders made by the High Court of Andhra apply with the necessary modifications in relation to practice and procedure in the High Court of Andhra as if made by that Court. XXVI OF 1997 (First published, after having received the assent of the Governor, in the "Maharashtra Government Gazette" on 28th April 1997). Amended by VI of 1999 - (23.12.1998) An Act to make special provisions for mobilisation of resources for completion of some ongoing irrigation protects in time bound manner, for promotion and operation of the said irrigation projects in Vidarbha region and command area development and schemes for generation of hydro-electric energy to harness the water of Godavari and Tapi Rivers allocated to the State of Maharashtra under the Water Disputes Tribunal Award and other allied and incidental activities including flood control by establishing the Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation. WHEREAS, it was expedient to make special provisions for promotion and operation of some irrigation projects in Vidarbha region, command area development and schemes for generation of hydro- electric energy to harness the water of Godavari and Tapi Rivers allocated to the State of Maharashtra under the Water Disputes.....

.....finds that any statement, intimation application or notice received by him is defective or incomplete in any of the particulars required by the Act or rules thereunder, he may return it to the parties for due rectification or completion. RULE 16: POWER TO MAKE FURTHER INQUIRIES, ETC The Registrar may make such further inquiries in respect of any statement, intimation, application or notice received by him under the Act or rules thereunder and may call for production of such evidence as he may consider necessary. RULE 17: CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION Where a firm is registered under section 59 of the Act, the Registrar shall issue a certificate in Form ˜H'. RULE 18: MANNER OF FILING OF APPEAL An appeal under sub-section (4) of section 58 of the Act shall be accompanied by a copy of the order appealed against and a copy of receipt of fee paid for filing an appeal. RULE 19: FEE PAYABLE IN RESPECT OF DOCUMENT OR ACT The lees to he paid to the Registrar of Firm in respect of document or act shall be as follows, namely:- (1) Statement under section 58(1) Fifty rupees.
