Amendment of section 1."For sub-section (1) of section 1 of the principal Act, the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:" "(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Official Languages Act, 1969." 5. WHEREAS it is expedient to make provisions for the constitution of a Commission to deal effectively with the investigation of, and inquiry into, complaints against public men and for matters connected therewith; BE it enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Public Men's Corruption (Investigations and Inquiries) Act, 1987.
