THE RAJASTHAN EXCISE ACT, 1950 THE RAJASTHAN EXCISE ACT, 1950 (Act No. 2 of 1950) CHAPTER I Preliminary 1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called The Rajasthan Excise Act, 1950. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Rajasthan. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in that behalf. 2. [Omitted]. 3.
