Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 1972 Complete Act

.....as member of a co-operative society except the following, namely : (a) an individual competent to contract under Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1972 (b) any other co-operative society (c) the Central Government; and (d) such class or classes of persons or association of persons as may be notified by the Lieutenant-Governor in his behalf : Provided that the provisions of clause (a) shall not apply to an individual seeking admission to a society exclusively formed for the benefit of students of a school or college (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Lieutenant- Governor may, having regard to the fact that the interest of any person or class of persons conflicts or is likely to conflict with the objects of any society or class of societies, by general or special order, published in the Delhi Gazette, declare that any person or class of persons engaged in or carrying on any profession, business or employment shall be disqualified from being admitted, or for continuing as members or shall be eligible for membership only to a limited extent of any specified society or class of societies, so long as such person is or such persons are.....

THE HIMACHAL PRADESH MOTOR VEHICLES TAXATION ACT, 1972 THE HIMACHAL PRADESH MOTOR VEHICLES TAXATION ACT, 1972 [Act No. 4 of 1973] [20th March, 1973] PREAMBLE An Act to impose tax on motor vehicles in the State of Himachal Pradesh and for other matters connected there with. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Twenty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1972. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Himachal Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force at once. Section 2 - Definitions In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context:- Substituted vide H.P. Motor Vehicles Taxation ( Amendment ) Act, 1999 (a) Commissioner means the Director of Transport, Himachal Pradesh, and includes any other officer appointed, by notification in the Official Gazette, in this behalf by the State Government Substituted vide H.P. Term of office and conditions of service of members.--(1) A member nominated under clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 38L shall hold office for such period not exceeding three years: Provided that a member may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Central Government, resign from his office. (2) The Central Government shall remove a member referred to in clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 3 8L, from office if he-- (a) is, or at any time has been, adjudicated as insolvent; (b) has been convicted of an offence which, in the opinion of the Central Government, involves moral turpitude; (c) is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; (d) refuses to act or becomes incapable of acting; (e) is, without obtaining leave of absence from the Tiger Conservation Authority, absent from three consecutive meetings of the said Authority; or (f) has, in the opinion of the Central Government, so abused his position as to render his continuation in office detrimental to the public interest: Provided that no member shall be removed under this sub-section unless he has been given a reasonable.....

Antiquities and Art Treasures Act, 1972 Complete Act

.....in accordance with the terms and conditions of a permit issued for the purpose by such authority as may be prescribed. SECTION 04: APPLICATION OF ACT 52 OF 1962 -The Customs Act, 1962-, shall have effect in relation to all antiquities and art treasures, the export of which by any person (other than the Central Government or any authority or agency authorized by the Central Government) is prohibited under section 3-save in so far as that Act is inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and except that (notwithstanding anything contained in section 125-of that Act) any confiscation authorized under that Act shall be made unless the Central Government on an application made to it in this behalf, otherwise directs. .....SECTION 21 : Fees to be computed to the nearest multiple of five paise In the determination and computation of the amount of fee payable under this Act any fraction of five paise less than two and a half paise shall be disregarded and any fraction of five paise equal to, or exceeding two and a half paise shall be regarded as five paise.
