Title: System Provider to Act in Accordance with the Act, Regulations, Etc.

Every system provider shall operate the payment system in accordance with the provisions of this Act, the regulations, the contract governing the relationship among the system participants, the rules and regulations which deal with the operation of the payment system and the conditions subject to which the authorisation is issued, and the directions given by the Reserve Bank from time to time.

THE SIKKIM MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 2007 THE SIKKIM MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 2007 (Act No. 5 of 2007) AN ACT To provide for the municipal governance in the State of Sikkim in conformity with the provisions of the Constitution of India as amended by the Constitution (Seventy-fourth Amendment) Act, 1992, based on the principles of participation in, and decentralization, autonomy, and accountability of, urban self-government at various levels, to improve the quality of life of the urban dwellers of Sikkim, to introduce reforms in financial management and accounting systems, to enhance internal resource generation capacity, to improve the organizational design of Municipalities, to ensure professionalization of the municipal personnel, and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. .....in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows- CHAPTER 1: PRELIMINARY: SECTION 1: Short title and commencement: (1) This Act may be called the Finance Act, 2007. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, sections 2 to 93 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2007. CHAPTER 2: RATES OF INCOME-TAX: SECTION 2: Income-tax: (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3), for the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 2007, income-tax shall be charged at the rates specified in Part I of the First Schedule and such tax as reduced by the rebate of income-tax calculated under Chapter VIII-A of the Income-tax Act, 1961(43 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the Income-tax Act) shall be increased by a surcharge for purposes of the Union calculated in each case in the manner provided therein. Ordinances how made (1) The first Ordinances made under sub-section (2) of section 32 may be amended, repealed or added to at any time by the Executive Council in the manner specified below. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- CHAPTER 1 : Preliminary SECTION 1 : Short title extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act, and any reference to the commencement in any such provision of this Act shall be construed as a reference to the commencement of that provision.
