.....proposes to take or has been taken by it upon the results of such inspection or inquiry. (8) Where the Board does not, within reasonable time, take action to the satisfaction of the Visitor, the Visitor may, after considering any explanation furnished or representation made by the Board, issue such directions as he may think fit and the Board shall be bound to comply with such directions. .....as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act. Amendment of Bengal Act V of 1922:- 2. In the Bengal Amusements Tax Act, 1922, in section 8C, in clause (a),- (1) for sub-clause (i), the following sub-clause shall be substituted:- (i) in the case of a new multiplex theatre complex,- (A) if it is situated under the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation or the municipalities of Baranagar, Dum Dum, South Dum Dum and Bidhannagar, four years, where it constitutes not less than three theatres and three years, where it constitutes two theatres, (B) if it is situated in the districts of Howrah, Hooghly, Burdwan, Nadia, Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, North 24-Parganas excluding the areas mentioned in item (A) and the areas under Sunderbans and South 24-Parganas excluding the areas under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation mentioned in item (A) and Sunderbans, six years, where it constitutes not less than three theatres and five years, where it constitutes two theatres, and (C) if it is situated in an area other than those areas specified in items (A) and (B) above, seven.....

.....in the Sixty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- Short title, extent and commencement:- 1. (1) This Act may be called the Adamas University Act, 2014. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of West Bengal. Title: University Open to All Classes, Castes and Creed

The University shall be open to persons of either sex and of whatever caste, creed, race or class, and it shall not be lawful for the University to adopt or impose on any person, any test whatsoever of religious belief or profession in order to entitle him to be appointed as a teacher of the University or to hold any other office therein or be admitted as a student in the University or to graduate thereat or to enjoy or exercise any privilege thereof Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the University from making special provisions for the employment or promotion of educational interests of women, physically challenged or of persons belonging to the weaker sections of the society and, in particular, of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes: Provided further that no such special provision shall be made on the ground of domicile.

Title: Formation of Companies with Charitable Objects, Etc.

.....convert itself into company of any other kind only after complying with such conditions as may be prescribed. (5) Where it is proved to the satisfaction of the Central Government that a limited company registered under this Act or under any previous company law has been formed with any of the objects specified in clause (a) of sub-section (1) and with the restrictions and prohibitions as mentioned respectively in clauses (b) and (c) of that sub-section, it may, by licence, allow the company to be registered under this section subject to such conditions as the Central Government deems fit and to change its name by omitting the word "Limited", or as the case may be, the words "Private Limited" from its name and thereupon the Registrar shall, on application, in the prescribed form, register such company under this section and all the provisions of this section shall apply to that company. (6) The Central Government may, by order, revoke the licence granted to a company registered under this section if the company contravenes any of the requirements of this section or any of the conditions subject to which a licence is issued or the affairs of the company are conducted.....

Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, (Central) Section 42

Title: Reservation and Other Benefits

State: Central

(1) All benefits, including the reservation benefits available to the Scheduled Tribes and the Scheduled Castes in the affected areas shall continue in the resettlement area. (2) Whenever the affected families belonging to the Scheduled Tribes who are residing in the Scheduled Areas referred to in the Fifth Schedule or the tribal areas referred to in the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution are relocated outside those areas, than, ail the statutory safeguards, entitlements and benefits being enjoyed by them under this Act shall be extended to the area to which they are resettled regardless of whether the resettlement area is a Scheduled Area referred to in the said Fifth Schedule, or a tribal area referred to in the said Sixth Schedule, or not. (3) Where the community rights have been settled under the provisions of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 (2 of 2007), the same shall be quantified in monetary amount and be paid to the individual concerned who has been displaced due to the acquisition of land in proportion with his share in such community rights.

.....the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934(2 of 1934); (43) "securities" has the meaning assigned to it in clause (h) of section 2 of the Securities Contract (Regulation) Act, 1956(42 of 1956); (44) "service" means any activity carried out by a person for another for consideration, and includes a declared service, but shall not include (a) an activity which constitutes merely, (i) a transfer of title in goods or immovable property, by way of sale, gift or in any other manner; or (ia) such transfer, delivery or supply of any goods which is deemed to be a sale within the meaning of clause (29A) of article 366 of the Constitution; or (ii) a transaction in money or actionable claim; (b) a provision of service by an employee to the employer in the course of or in relation to his employment; (c) fees taken in any Court or tribunal established under any law for the time being in force. Explanation 1.
