Title : Short Title, Extent and Commencement

(1) This Act may he called the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948. Nothing contained in sections 34, 35 and 36 shall apply in any case where under section 19, it is not permissible for the Board to supply electricity directly to a licensee owning a generating station; and nothing in sections 46, 47 and 49 shall empower the Board to supply electricity directly to any licensee or person to whom it is not otherwise entitled so to supply electricity.
