Title: Power of Reserve Bank to Give Directions

.....in this behalf at his usual address all notices of, and other communications relating to, any meeting of the board, committee or other body constituted by it; (d) appoint one or more of its officers to observe the manner in which the affairs of the credit information company or of its offices or branches are being conducted and make a report thereon; (e) require the credit information company to make, within such time as may be specified in the order, such changes in the management as the Reserve Bank may consider necessary. (4) The Reserve Bank may, at any time, direct any credit information company to furnish it within such time as may be specified by the Reserve Bank, such statements and information relating to the business or affairs of the credit information company as the Reserve Bank may consider necessary or expedient to obtain for the purpose of this Act.

Title: Direction to Media for Communication of Warnings, Etc.

The National Authority, the State Authority, or a District Authority may recommend to the Government to give direction to any authority or person in control of any audio or audio-visual media or such other means of communication as may be available to carry any warning or advisories regarding any threatening disaster situation or disaster, and the said means of communication and media as designated shall comply with such direction.

Title: Power to Issue Direction by Central Government

Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, it shall be lawful for the Central Government to issue direction in writing to the Ministries or Departments of the Government of India, or the National Executive Committee or the State Government, State Authority, State Executive Committee, statutory bodies or any of its officers or employees, as the case may be, to facilitate or assist in the disaster management and such Ministry or Department or Government or Authority, Executive Committee, statutory body, officer or employee shall be bound to comply with such direction.

.....namely:- "(d) an eligible transaction in respect of trading in derivatives referred to in clause (aa) of section 2 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956(42 of 1956) carried out in a recognised stock exchange;"; (B) after the proviso, the following Explanation shall be inserted, namely:- 'Explanation.-For the purposes of this clause, the expressions-- (i) "eligible transaction" means any transaction,- (A) carried out electronically on screen-based systems through a stock broker or sub-broker or such other intermediary registered under section 12 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992(15 of 1992) in accordance with the provisions of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956(42 of 1956) or the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 or the Depositories Act, 1996(22 of 1996) and the rules, regulations or bye-laws made or directions issued under those Acts or by banks or mutual funds on a recognised stock exchange; and (B) which is supported by a time stamped contract note issued by such stock broker or sub-broker or such other intermediary to every client indicating in the contract note the unique client identity.....

Title: Power of Central Government to Give Directions

(1) The Central Government may give such directions as it may consider necessary to the State Government for the effective implementation of the provisions of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Central Government may, on receipt of any complaint regarding the issue or improper utilisation of funds granted under this Act in respect of any Scheme if prima facie satisfied that there is a case, cause an investigation into the complaint made by any agency designated by it and if necessary, order stoppage of release of funds to the Scheme and institute appropriate remedial measures for its proper implementation within a reasonable period of time.

(1) In the discharge of its functions under this Act, the Commission shall be guided by such directions on questions of policy relating to national purposes, as may be given to it by the Central Government. Section 19 - Residence orders (1) While disposing of an application under sub-section (1) of section 12, the Magistrate may, on being satisfied that domestic violence has taken place, pass a residence order - (a) restraining the respondent from dispossessing or in any other manner disturbing the possession of the aggrieved person from the shared household, whether or not the respondent has a legal or equitable interest in the shared household; (b) directing the respondent to remove himself from the shared household; (c) restraining the respondent or any of his relatives from entering any portion of the shared household in which the aggrieved person resides; (d) restraining the respondent from alienating or disposing off the shared household or encumbering the same; (e) restraining the respondent from renouncing his rights in the shared household except with the leave of the Magistrate; or (f) directing the respondent to secure same level of alternate accommodation for the aggrieved person as enjoyed by her in the shared household or to pay rent for the same, if the circumstances so require: .....

Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 Chapter VII

.....statement, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one crore rupees. (4) Any person who contravenes any provision of this Act or of any rule or order made thereunder, or obstructs the lawful exercise of any power conferred by or under this Act, or makes default in complying with any requirement of this Act or of any rule or order made or direction issued thereunder, shall, if no specific provision is made under this Act for punishment of such contravention, obstruction or default, be punishable with fine which may extend to one lakh rupees and where a contravention or default is a continuing one, with a further fine which may extend to five thousand rupees for every day during which the contravention or default continues. (5) Where a contravention or default has been committed by a credit information company or credit institution or specified user, as the case may be, every person who, at the time the contravention or default was committed, was in charge of, and was responsible to the credit information company or credit institution or specified user for the conduct of its business, shall be deemed to be guilty of the contravention or default, and shall be liable.....
