Rule2 Rule In these rules 'the Act' means the Delhi Anatomy Act, 1953 (No. 5 of 1953). Rule3 Rule (1)All officers and servants of the Police, Health Departments (Medical and Public Health), all officers and servants in the service of a local authority and all village officers and servants who come to know of a death of any person in any public place in an area in which he had no permanent place of residence shall report the fact to the authorised officer with the least practicable delay. (2)Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions, the responsibility for immediately reporting the fact to the authorised officer and also arranging the removal of the dead body to the hospital for preservation from decay shall be that of the officer in-charge of the Police Station having jurisdiction over the area or the village headman of the area, as the case may be. (3) I f the body of such person is not claimed by any of his near relatives or personal friends within a period of 48 hours, the authorised officer shall proceed to deal.....

(iii) any establishment within the meaning of the Delhi Shops and Establishments Act, 1954, which employs, or on any working day during the preceding twelve months, employed five or more persons: Provided that any such establishment shall continue to be an establishment for the purposes of this Act notwithstanding a reduction in the number of persons to less than five at any subsequent time: Provided further that, where for a continuos period of not less than three months the number of parsons employed therein has been less than such establishment shall cease to be an establishment for the purposes of this Act with- effect from the beginning of the month.....

SECTION 32: PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE IN ANDHRA HIGH COURT Subject to the provisions of this Part, the law in force immediately before the prescribed day with respect to practice and procedure in the High Court at Madras shall, with the necessary modifications, apply in relation to the High Court of Andhra and accordingly that High Court shall have all such powers to make rules and orders with respect to practice and procedure as are immediately before the prescribed day exercisable by the High Court at Madras: Provided that any rules or orders which are in force immediately before the prescribed day with respect to practice and procedure in the High Court at Madras shall, until varied or revoked by rules or orders made by the High Court of Andhra apply with the necessary modifications in relation to practice and procedure in the High Court of Andhra as if made by that Court. DELHI NURSING HOMES REGISTRATION ACT, 1953 DELHI NURSING HOMES REGISTRATION ACT, 1953 6 of 1953 An Act to provide for the registration and inspection of nursing homes in the State of Delhi and for certain purposes connected therewith. Title: Validation of Charges Levied on Salt Before the Commencement of This Act

The charge in respect of the manufacture or production of salt imposed by the rule made by the Central Government under section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (I of 1944) and published with the notification of the former, Finance Department (Revenue Division) No.3, dated the 29thMarch, 1947, shall be deemed to have been levied under this Act as if this act was in force on the day on which the charge was so imposed and accordingly,.- (a) any sum paid or payable by way of such charge shall be deemed to have been paid or payable in accordance with law; and (b) no claim shall lie in any court for the refund of any sum so paid.
