Disaster Management Act, 2005 Section 40

.....function under sub-clause (iii); (v) the capacity-building and preparedness measures proposedto be put into effect in order to enable the Ministries or Departments of theGovernment of India to discharge their responsibilities tinder section 37; (b) annually review arid update the plan referred to inclause (a); and (c) furnish a copy of the plan referred to in clause (a) orclause (b), as the case may be, to the State Authority. (2) Every department of the State Government, whilepreparing the plan under sub-section (1), shall make provisions for financingthe activities specified therein. (3) Every department of the State Government shall furnishan implementation status report to the State Executive Committee regarding theimplementation of the disaster management plan referred to in sub-section (1).

(1) The issue of bank notes shall be conducted by the Bank in an Issue Department which shall be separated and kept wholly distinct from the Banking Department, and the assets of the Issue Department shall not be subject to any liability other than the liabilities of the Issue Department as hereinafter defined in section 34. National Green Tribunal Act, 2010 Section 28

Title: Offences by Government Department

(1) Where any Department of the Government fails to comply with any order or award or decision of the Tribunal under this Act, the Head of the Department shall be deemed to be guilty of such failure and shall be liable to be proceeded against for having committed an offence under this Act and punished accordingly: Provided that nothing contained in this section shall render such Head of the Department liable to any punishment if he proves that the offence was committed without his knowledge or that he exercised all due diligence to prevent the commission of such offence. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), where an offence under this Act has been committed by a Department of the Government and it is proved that the offence has been committed with the consent or connivance of, or is attributable to any neglect on the part of any officer, other than the Head of the Department, such officer shall also be deemed to be guilty of that offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.

Title: Establishments to Include Departments, Undertakings and Branches

Where an establishment consists of different department or undertakings or has branches, whether situated in the same place or in different places, all such departments or undertakings or branches shall be treated as parts of the same establishment for the purpose of computation of bonus under this Act: Provided that where for any accounting year a separate balance-sheet and profit and loss account are prepared and maintained in respect of any such department or undertaking or branch, then, such department or undertaking or branch shall be treated as a separate establishment for the purpose of computation of bonus, under this Act for that year, unless such department or undertaking or branch was, immediately before the commencement of that accounting year treated as part of the establishment for the purpose of computation of bonus.
