.....by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title " (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2006. 2. Withdrawal of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State for a part of the financial year commencing on the 1st day of April 2006. " The State Government may withdraw from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State sums not exceeding twenty four thousand four hundred and twenty five crores eight lakhs and fifty four thousand rupees being moneys required to meet " (a) the grants made in advance by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for a part of the financial year commencing on the 1st day of April 2006, as set forth in column (3) of the Schedule; and (b) the expenditure charged on the Consolidated Fund of the State for the said part of that year, as set forth in column (4) of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation. " The sums authorized to be withdrawn from and out of the Consolidated Fund under Section 2 shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to that year. Appropriation (Railways) Vote on Account Act 2006 Section 2

Title: Withdrawal of Rs. 18662,54,76,000 from and out of the Consolidated Fund of Indiafor the Financial Year 2006-2007

From and out of the Consolidated Fund of India there may be withdrawn sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum (sic) eighteen thousand six hundred sixty-two crores, fifty-four lakhs, seventy-six thousand rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2006-07, in respect of the services relating to Railways specified in column 2 of the Schedule.

Assam Rifles Act, 2006 Section 108

Title: Voting by Members

(1) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3), every decision of an Assam Rifles Court shall be passed by a majority of votes; and where there is an equality of votes on either the finding or the sentence, the decision shall be in favour of the accused. (2) No sentence of death shall be passed by a General Assam Rifles Court without the concurrence of at least two-thirds of the members of the Court. (3) In matters, other than a challenge or the finding or sentence, the presiding officer shall have a casting vote.

Cantonments Act, 2006 Section 32

Title: Member Not to Vote on Matter in Which He is Interested

(1) No member of a Board shall vote at a meeting of the Board or of any Committee of the Board on any question relating to his own conduct or vote or take part in any discussion on any matter, other than a matter affecting generally the inhabitants of the cantonment, which affects his own pecuniary interest or the valuation of any property in respect of which he is directly or indirectly interested, or of any property of or for which he is a manager or agent. (2) When any member of the Board present at the meeting of the Board or any committee of the Board believes that the person presiding over such meeting has pecuniary or other interest in any matter under discussion and moves a motion to that effect, the person so presiding-- (a) shall not be entitled to vote on such motion, and (b) shall, if such motion is carried, absent himself from the meeting during such discussion.

Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 Complete Act
