.....APPELLATE DIVISION OF HIGH COURTS ACT, 2015 THE COMMERCIAL COURTS, COMMERCIAL DIVISION & COMMERCIAL APPELLATE DIVISION OF HIGH COURTS ACT, 2015 NO. 4 OF 2016 An Act to provide for the constitution of Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division in the High Courts for adjudicating commercial disputes of specified value and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 23rd day of October, 2015. Definitions. 2. (1) In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) Commercial Appellate Division means the Commercial Appellate Division in a High Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 5; (b) Commercial Court means the Commercial Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 3; (c) commercial dispute .....

Title: Statutes How to Be Made

.....an existing Statute shall have no validity unless it has been assented to by the Visitor. (5) Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing sub-sections, the Visitor may make new or additional Statutes or amend or repeal the Statutes referred to in sub-section (1), during the period of three years immediately after the commencement of this Act: Provided that the Visitor may, on the expiry of the said period of three years, make, within one year from the date of such expiry, such detailed Statutes as he may consider necessary and such detailed Statutes shall be laid before both Houses of Parliament. (6) Notwithstanding anything contained in this section, the Visitor may direct the University to make provisions in the Statutes in respect of any matter specified by him and if the Executive Council is unable to implement such direction within sixty days of its receipt, the Visitor may, after considering the reasons, if any, communicated by the Executive Council for its inability to comply with such direction, make or amend the Statutes suitably.

Title: Power of Central Government to Provide for Amalgamation of Companies in Public Interest

(2) The order under sub-section (1) may also provide for the continuation by or against the transferee company of any legal proceedings pending by or against any transferor company and such consequential, incidental and supplemental provisions as may, in the opinion of the Central Government, be necessary to give effect to the amalgamation. .....sub-section (3), the Tribunal shall within sixty days therefrom, after satisfying that the scheme had been validly approved in accordance with this section, pass an order sanctioning such scheme. Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-third year of the Republic of India, as follows :-- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2012. (2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Section 2 - Amendment of Section 5 (i) In Section 5 of the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), exiting sub-section (18-a) shall be renumbered as "(18-b)".
