The Delhi and Ajmer Rent Control Act, 1952, as in force in the Cantonment of Nasirabad shall stand repealed on the date on which the Rajasthan Premises (Control of Rent and Eviction) Act, 1950 is extended to that cantonment by notification under section 3 of the Cantonment (Extension of Rent Control Laws) Act, 1957.

Title: Saving

The repeal of the Delhi and Ajmer Rent Control Act, 1952, under section 2 shall not affect-- (a) the previous operation of the said Act or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; or (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired accrued or incurred under the said Act; or (c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offences committed against the said Act; or (d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid. and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the said Act had not been repealed.

Border Security Force Act, 1968 Section 5

Title: Control, Direction, Etc.

(1) The general superintendence, direction and control of the Force shall vest in, and be exercised by, the Central Government and subject thereto and to the provisions of this Act and the rules, the command and supervision of the Force shall vest in an officer to be appointed by the Central Government as the Director-General of the Force. (2) The Director-General shall, in the discharge of his duties under this Act, be assisted by such number of Inspectors-General, Deputy Inspectors-General, Commandants and other officers as may be prescribed by the Central Government.

Border Security Force Act, 1968 Complete Act

" whereas it is expedient to provide for the preservation and regulation of parks, play-fields and open spaces in the State of Kerala; Be it enacted in the Nineteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:" 1. Short title, extent and commencement . "(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Parks, Play-fields and Open Spaces (Preservation and Regulation) Act, 1968. Border Security Force Act, 1968 Chapter III

.....to this Act who deserts or attemps to desert the service shall, on conviction by a Security Force Court,-- (a) if he commits the offence when on active duty or when under order for active duty, be liable to suffer death or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned; and (b) if he commits the offence under any other circumstances, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned. (2) Any person subject to this Act who knowingly harbours any such deserter shall, on conviction by a Security Force Court, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned. (3) Any person subject to this Act who, being cognizant of any desertion or attempt at desertion of a person subject to this Act, does not forthwith give notice to his own or some other superior officer, or take any steps in his power to cause such person to be apprehended, shall, on conviction by a Security Force Court, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned.
