Section 581D - Membership and voting rights of Members of Producer Company (1) (a) In a case where the membership consists solely of individual members, the voting rights shall be based on a single vote for every Member, irrespective of his shareholding or patronage of the Producer Company. THE COMPANIES (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 2002 [Act, No. 11 of 2003] [13th January 2003] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Companies Act, 1956. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-Third Year of the Republic of India as follows:-- Section1. Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Companies (Second Amendment) Act, 2002. (2) It shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint: Provided that different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act and any reference in any such provision to the commencement of this Act shall be construed as a reference to the commencement of that provision.
