.....for certain specified purpose The supply of water for domestic purposes shall not be deemed to include any supply,- (a) for any trade, manufacture or business; (b) for gardens or for purposes of irrigation; (c) for building purposes; (d) for fountains, swimming baths, public baths or tanks or for any ornamental or mechanical purposes; (e) for animals, where they are kept for sale or hire for the sale of their produce or any preparation therefrom; (f) for the consumption and use by the inmates of hotels, boarding houses and residential clubs; (g) for the consumption and use by the persons resorting to theatres and cinemas; (h) for constructing or for watering streets; or (i) for washing vehicles where they are kept for sale or hire; but shall be deemed to include a supply,- (i) for flushing privies or drains; and (ii) for all baths other than swimming baths or public baths. (1) The Commissioner shall,- (i) provide or appoint in proper and convenient situations, depots or places for the temporary deposit of rubbish and filth and for the final disposal of filth and carcasses of animals. (ii) provide dust-bins for the temporary deposit of rubbish; (iii) provide vehicles or other suitable means for the removal of carcasses of animals; and (iv) provide covered vehicles or vessels for the removal of filth. (2) The Commissioner shall make adequate provision for preventing the deposits, places, dust-bins, vehicles and vessels referred to in sub-section (1) from becoming sources of nuisance.
