Factories Act, 1948 Chapter IV

.....beyond the head stock of a lathe; and (iv) unless they are in such position or of such construction as to be safe to every person employed in the factory as they would be if they were securely fenced, the following, namely : -- (a) every part of an electric generator, a motor or rotary converter; (b) every part of transmission machinery; and (c) ever dangerous part of any other machinery; shall be securely fenced by safeguards of substantial construction which1[shall be constantly maintained and kept in position] while the parts of machinery the y are fencing are in motion or in use: 2[Provided that for the purpose of determining whether any part of machinery is in such position or is of such construction as to be safe as aforesaid, account shall not be taken of any occasion when-- (i) it is necessary to make an examination of any part of the machinery aforesaid while it is in motion or , a s a result of such examination, to carry out lubrication or other adjusting operation while the machinery is in motion, being an examination or operation which it is necessary to be carried out while that part of the machinery is in motion, or (ii) in the case of any part of a.....

Goa, Daman and Diu Mining Concessions (Abolition and Declaration as Mining Leases) Act, 1987 Complete Act

.....any judgment, decree or order of any court, tribunal or other authority or any instrument having effect by virtue of any enactment other than this Act. SECTION 04: ABOLITION ETC., OF MINING CONCESSIONS (1) Every mining concession specified in the First Schedule shall, on and from the appointed day, be deemed to have been abolished, and shall, with effect from that day, be deemed to be a mining lease granted underthe Mines and Minerals Act-, and the provisions of that Act shall, save as otherwise provided in this Act, apply to such mining lease. (2) Every mining concession specified in the Second Schedule shall, on and from the day next after the date of grant of the said concession and specified in the corresponding entry in the eighth column of the said Schedule, be deemed to have been abolished and shall, with effect from that day, be deemed to be a mining lease granted underthe Mines and Minerals Act-, and the provisions of that Act shall, save as otherwise provided in this Act, apply to such mining lease. The Assam Agricultural Produce Market Act, 1972 Complete Act

.....and before coming into force of the Assam Agricultural Produce Market (Amendment) Act, 2000, shall be submitted by the Board for obtaining ex-post-facto concurrence of the State Government in this regard within one month from the date of coming into force of the Assam Agricultural Produce Market (Amendment) Act, 2000 and no person shall be employed by the Board in any capacity and in any manner whether on fixed pay or on adhoc basis or otherwise if the creation of such post has not been concurred by the State Government as provided under this section : Provided further that the Board may, with the approval of the State Government and without any prejudice to the rule making power of the State Government under section 49 of the Act, make bye- Laws under sub-section (14) of section 3 regulating the employment and conditions of service in respect of any or all categories of officers and employees of the Market Committees and such bye-laws shall, as nearly as may be, consistent with the corresponding rules in respect of the Officers and employees of the corresponding grade of the State Government. Any amendment to such bye-Laws once framed shall require approbation of atleast.....

The Tripura Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1980 Complete Act

.....of agricultural produce for sale in any market area or market, surveys it for ascertaining the quality refraction, alternation and other like factors ; (r) "trader" means a person who buys and sells agricultural produce as a principal or as a duly authorised agent for one or more persons or group of persons. (2)If any question arises as to whether a person is or is not an agriculturist for the purposes of this Act, the matter shall be referred to the Director who shall decide the same. (1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette and in local news-papers, preferably in regional language, declare its intention of regulating the purchase and sale of such agricultural produce and in such area as may be specified in the notification in accordance with the provisions of this Act. (2) The notification shall state that any objections orsuggestions which may be received by the State Government within a period, not being less than sixty days, to be specified in the notification, shall be considered by the State Government.
