Bengal Natural History (Acquisition of the Natural History Society Museum) Act, 1993 Complete Act

.....Government or any officer or other person authorised by that Government for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act. Section 9 Act to have overriding effect The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any law other than this Act, or in any judgement, decree or order of any court, tribunal or other authority. Section 10 Power to make rules (1) The State Government may, by notification, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the matters which may be, or are required to be, prescribed by rules under this Act. Section 11 Power to remove difficulties If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the State Government may, by order, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, remove the difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the appointed day. Title: General Effect of Vesting

.....Government of Uttar Pradesh, as the case may be, and all registers, maps, plans, drawings and other documents of whatever nature relating thereto. (2) All properties aforesaid which have vested in the Central Government under-shall, by force of such vesting, be freed and discharged from any trust, obligation, mortgage, charge, lien and all other encumbrances affecting them and any attachment, injunction, decree or order of any court or tribunal or other authority restricting the use of such properties in any manner or appointing any receiver in respect of the whole or any part of such properties shall cease to have any effect. (3) If, on the commencement of this Act, any suit, appeal or other proceeding in respect of the right, title and interest relating to any property which has vested in the Central Government under, is pending before any court, tribunal or other authority, the same shall abate.

The Tamil Nadu Special Security Group Act, 1993 Complete Act

Title: Right of Multimodal Transport Operator to Have Lien on Goods and Documents

(1) The multimodal transport operator who has not been paid the amount of consideration stipulated in the multimodal transport contract shall have a lien on the consignment and on the documents in his possession. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sections 13, 16, and 18, the period during which the goods are in possession of the multimodal transport operator in exercise of his right of lien referred to in sub-section (1) shall not be included for the purposes of calculating the time of delay under any of those sections.

Multimodal Transportation of Goods Act, 1993 Complete Act

KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION ACT, 1993 KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION ACT, 1993 An Act to declare Kalakshetra of Madras to be an institution of national importance to provide for the establishment and incorporation of Foundation for its administration, to make provisions for further development of Kalakshetra in accordance with the aims and objects for which Kalakshetra was founded and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Forty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Kalaksherta Foundation Act, 1993. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 29th day of September, 1993.
