.....fine. (3) Whoever conspires or attempts to commit, or advocates, abets, advises or incites or knowingly facilitates the commission of, a terrorist act or any act preparatory to a terrorist act, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than five years but which may extend to imprisonment for life and shall also be liable to fine. (4) Whoever voluntarily harbours or conceals, or attempts to harbour or conceal any person knowing that such person is a terrorist shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than three years but which may extend to imprisonment for life and shall also be liable to fine: Provided that this sub-section shall not apply to any case in which the harbour or concealment is by the husband or wife of the offender. (5) Any person who is a member of a terrorist gang or a terrorist organisation, which is involved in terrorist acts, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extent to imprisonment for life or with fine which may extend to rupees ten lakh or with both. Explanation.- For the purposes of this sub-section, "terrorist organisation" means an organisation which is concerned.....

.....repeal shall not affect the continuance of any such amendment made by the enactment so repealed and in operation at the commencement of this Act ; (ii) any action taken (including any rule or order or bye-law or regulation made or any tax or cess or fee assessed or collected) by the Government or any other authority has been validated or saved or proceedings before one authority has been transferred to another authority or any declaration has been made or any direction has been given, the repeal shall not affect the operation of such validation or saving or transfer or declaration or direction and in operation at the commencement of this Act; and (iii) any other enactment has been amended or repealed or extended to the State of Karnataka, with or without some consequential or transitory or saving provisions the repeal shall not affect the operation of such amendment, repeal, extension or provision and in operation at the time of commencement of this Act. (3) The provisions of section 6 of the Karnataka General Clauses Act, 1899 (Karnataka Act III of 1899) shall be applicable in respect of repeal of an enactment by this Act.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf and different dates may be appointed for different chapters or sections of this Act. SECTION 02: REPEAL OF ENACTMENT (1) Subject to section 1, on the commencement of this Act, the areas presently included in the Schedule I shall, save as hereinafter provided, be deemed to have been withdrawn from the operation of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968 or the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1993 as the case may be. (2) This withdrawal shall not affect the validity of anything done or suffered, or any right, title, or proceedings, obligation or liability accrued, before the commencement of this Act. (2) In sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 239, after the words "unoccupied land" wherever it occurs the words "and Bhata land and Bade Jhad/Chhote Jhad Ka Jungle" shall be added. .....the Prevention of Terrorism (Second) Act, 2002. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) Every person shall be liable to punishment under this Act for every act or omission contrary to the provisions thereof, of which he is held guilty in India. (4) Any person who commits an offence beyond India which is punishable under this Act shall be dealt with according to the provisions of this Act in the same manner as if such act had been committed in India. (5) The provisions of this Act apply also to- (a) citizens of India outside India; (b) persons in the service of the Government, wherever they may be; and (c) persons on ships and aircrafts, registered in India, wherever they may be. (6) Save as otherwise provided in respect of entries at serial numbers 24 and 25 of the Schedule to this Act, it shall be deemed to have come into force on the 24thday of October, 2001 and shall remain in force for a period of three years from the date of its commencement, but its expiry under the operation of this sub-section shall not affect-- (a) the previous operation of, or anything duly done or suffered under this Act, or (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability.....

Title: Prevention of Terrorism (Repeal) Act, 2004 (26 of 2004)

.....and (b) in cases in which investigations are pending, the investigations shall be closed forthwith, with effect from the date of issuance of the direction by such Review Committee in this regard. (4) The Review Committee constituted by the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 60 of the principle Act shall, while reviewing cases, have powers of a civil court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908(5 of 1908) in respect of the following matters, namely:- (a) discovery and production of any document; (b) requisitioning any public record or copy thereof from any court or office. (5) The Central Government may constitute more Review Committees, as it may consider necessary, for completing the review within the period specified in sub-section (3). 3. Section 3 (1) The Prevention of Terrorism (Repeal) Ordinance, 2004 is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this act.
