THE DEV SANSKRITI VISHWAVIDYALAYA ACT, 2002 (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2009 THE DEV SANSKRITI VISHWAVIDYALAYA ACT, 2002 [Act No. 4 of 2002] PREAMBLE An Act to establish and incorporate a University sponsored by Shri Vedmata Gayatri Trust, Shantikunj, Haridwar in the State and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:-- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2002. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the date, the notification is issued by the State Government. THE ORISSA SERVICE OF ENGINEERS (VALIDATION OF APPOINTMENT) ACT, 2002 THE ORISSA SERVICE OF ENGINEERS (VALIDATION OF APPOINTMENT) ACT, 2002 Orissa Act 9 of 2003 [Received the assent of the Governor on the 5th February 2003, first published in an extraordinary issue of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 15th, February, 2003 (No. 218)] An act to validate the ad hoc appointment of certain assistant engineers made to the Orissa Service of Engineers. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title. This Act may be called the Orissa Service of Engineers (Validation of Appointment) Act, 2002. 2. Definitions. In this Act unless the context otherwise requires- (a) "Government" means Government of Orissa; (b) "Recruitment .Rules" means the Orissa Service of Engineers Rules, 1941; (c) "Service" means the Orissa Service of Engineers; and (d) "Year" means the Calendar Year. 3. THE CHHATTISGARH ANADHIKRIT VIKAS KA NIYAMITIKARAN (SANSHODHAN) ADHINIYAM, 2002 THE CHHATTISGARH ANADHIKRIT VIKAS KA NIYAMITIKARAN (SANSHODHAN) ADHINIYAM, 2002 PREAMBLE [Act No. 32 of 2002] An Act to amend the Chhattisgarh Anadhikrit Vikas Ka Niyamitikaran Adhiniyam, 2002 (No. 21 of 2002). Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-third year of the Republic of India as follows:-- Section 1 - Short Title and Commencement (i) This Act may be called the "Chhattisgarh Anadhikrit Vikas Ka Niyamitikaran (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2002 (No. 32 of 2002)." (ii) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint. Section 2 - Amendment in Section 6 After (iv) of Sub-section (1) of Section 6 of Chhattisgarh Anadhikrit Vikas Ka Niyamitikaran Adhiniyam, 2002 (No. 21 of 2002) the following provision shall be inserted namely,- "Provided that the amount of penalty to be imposed shall not be more than 50% of such evaluation and the cost of development of such infrastructure." .....Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows :- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT -(1) This Act may be called the Finance Act, 2002. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, Sections 2-to116-shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2002. SECTION 02: INCOME TAX (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3), for the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 2002, income tax shall be charged at the rates specified in Part I of the First Schedule and such tax as reduced by the rebate of income tax calculated under Chapter VIII-A of the Income Tax Act, 1961(43 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the Income Tax Act) shall be increased by a surcharge for purposes of the Union calculated in each case in the manner provided therein. (2) In the cases to which Paragraph A of Part I of the First Schedule applies, where the assessee has, in the previous year, any net agricultural income exceeding five thousand rupees, in addition to total income, and the total income exceeds fifty thousand rupees, then,- (a) the net agricultural income shall be taken into account, in the manner provided.....
