Section1 - (1) This Act may be called the Haryana Lifts and Escalators Act, Section2 - In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, Section3 - (1) Section4 - (1) Every owner shall, within a period of one month after the Section5 - The owner shall make arrangement to provide for an automatic rescue rescue device Section6 - The owner shall make arrangements to provide for alternative supply system Section7 - Every lift and escalator which has been registered shall be inspected Section8 - (1) Section9 - (1) Section10 - An Inspector at all reasonable hours, with such assistants, if any, any building for being persons in the service of Section11 - If, upon an inspection, as is carried out under section 7, the escalators in an Section12 - (1) Section13 - The owner shall, after the completion of the erection of such lift or Section14 - (1) The owner shall, maintain a log book for each lift and escalator reporting Section15 - The lift or escalator erection or maintenance company, as the case liability Section16 - If any building where lift or escalator is installed or any lift or Section17 - A lift or escalator installed in the premises shall be replaced by Section18 - The Government may, by order in writing, direct that any of the Section19 - The Government may, delegate any of its powers conferred on it by powers Section20 - Whoever contravenes any of the provisions of this Act, or the rules Section21 - No Court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act except offence Section22 - No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any action taken in person in respect of anything Section23 - (1) Section24 - Nothing contained in this Act shall affect the provisions of the
