THE RUBBER ACT, 1947

PREAMBLE

An Act to provide for the development1[under the control of the Union] of the rubber industry

It is hereby enacted as follows:--

1. Substituted for "under Central Control" by the Rubber (Production and Marketing) Amdt. Act, 1954 (54 of 1954), section 2 (1-8-1955).

2. The words "so far as regards the production and marketing of rubber, and for regulating export and import of rubber" were omitted by the Rubber (Production and Marketing) Amdt. Act, 1954 (54 of 1954), section 2 (1-8-1955).
