Section Text

2017.

(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 10th day of April, 2017.

(a) “Government” means Government of Kerala;

(b) “prescribed” means prescribed by rules made under this Act;

(c) “schools” mean Government, aided and un-aided schools, and includes un-aided schools affiliated to any of the boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Council for the Indian Schools Certificate Examination (CISCE);

(d) “State” means the State of Kerala.

(2) Words and expressions used and not defined in this Act, but defined in the Kerala Education Act, 1958 (6 of 1959) and the Kerala Education Rules, 3 1959 shall have the same meaning respectively assigned to them in the said Act Section 3 - and the Rules
