iia) ins. by Ben. Act 7 of 1914.

(1) The State Government may, subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be prescribed, select, from time to time, new sites in any local area for grant of a license for the retail sale of spirit at such new site or in the vicinity thereof having regard to public demand.
