Miscellaneous Provisions,) Act, STANDARD WEIGHT AND REMEDY OF COMMEMORATIVE COINS) OF THE HUNDRED RUPEES (CONTAINING SILVER 50%, COPPER 40%, NICKEL 5% AND ZINC 5%) FIFTY RUPEES, TEN RUPEES AND TWO RUPEES (CONTAINING COPPER 75% AND NICKEL 25%) COINED IN MEMORY OF "SANT TUKARAM" RULES, E), dated 4th April, 2002. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 21, read with section 7 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:- RULE 01: SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT.

(1) These rules may be called theCoinage (Standard Weight and Remedy of Commemorative Coins) of the Hundred Rupees (Containing Silver 50%, Copper 40%, Nickel 5% and Zinc 5%) Fifty Rupees, Ten Rupees and Two Rupees (containing Copper 75% and Nickel 25%) coined in memory of "Sant Tukaram" Rules, 2002-.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. RULE 02: DEFINITION In these rules "Act" meansCoinage Act, 1906-(3 of 1906). RULE 03: STANDARD WEIGHT AND REMEDY ALLOWED ON COINS OF CERTAIN DENOMINATIONS COINED IN THE MEMORY OF "SANT TUKARAM".
