G.S.R.277 (E), dated the 1st March, 1988 [88/88-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 1988]

In the said notification, in the Explanation, for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:--

21st day of February, 2000 to 28th day of February, 2003 (both days inclusive)

'(a) the expression "rural area" shall have the meaning assigned to it in clause (ff) of section 2 of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act, 1956(61 of 1956).'.
