Central Excise Act, 1944 Section 1 - Bare Act

¹[(1) This Act may be called the Central Excise Act, 1944.]

(2) It extends to the whole of India²[***].

(3) It shall come into force on such date³as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
