FOREIGNERS ACT, 1946

[Act, No. 31 of 1946]

[23rd November, 1946]

PREAMBLE

An Act to confer upon the Central Government certain powers in respect of foreigners

WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the exercise by the Central Government of certain powers in respect of the entry of foreigners into1[ India, their presence therein and their departure therefrom;

It is hereby enacted as follows:--
