Section Text

(1) This Act may be called the 1[***] Registration Act, 1908. 2[(2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir:

PROVIDED that the State Government may exclude any district or tracts of country from its operation.]

(3) It shall come into force on the first day of January, 1909.
