Section Text

1) Every Officer and13[sailor] shall hold office during the pleasure of the President.

(2) Subject to the provisions of this Act and the regulations made thereunder,-

(a) the Central Government may14[dismiss or] discharge or retire from the naval service any officer or13[sailor];

(b) the Chief of the Naval Staff or any prescribed officer may14[dismiss or] discharge from the naval service any13[sailor].
