1)37[Any lunatic may, in Accordance with any general or special order of the Slate Government, be removed from 38[any Government asylum] to any other asylum within the State, or to any other asylum in any other State with the consent of the State Government of that State] Provided that no lunatic admitted into an asylum on a reception order made on petition shall be removed in accordance with the provisions of this sub-section until notice of such intended removal has been given to the petitioner. (2) The 39[State Government] may make such general or special order as40[it] thinks fit directing the removal of any person for whose41[detention] an order has been made under section 466-or section 471 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898-,42[or under section 103A of the Indian Army Act, 1915], from the place where he is for the time being 43[detained] to any asylum, jail or other place of safe custody44[in the State, or to any asylum, jail or other place of safety in any other State with the consent of the State Government of that State].
