SECTION 24: RECEPTION AND DETENTION OF CRIMINAL LUNATICS An order under section 466-orsection 471 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 -, or under section 30 of the Prisoners Act 1900 29[or under4section 103A of the Indian Army Act, 1911] directing the reception of a criminal lunatic into any asylum which is prescribed for the reception of criminal lunatics shall be sufficient authority for the reception and detention of any person named therein in such asylum or in any other asylum to which he may be lawfully transferred.
