Section Text

1) Any registered owner who contravenes the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 16-, or section 17-orsection 18-, any licensed curer83[or dealer] who contravenes the provisions of subsection (2) of section 16-,84[* * *] shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.

(2) When a registered owner is convicted under this section, the Board may thereafter deduct from any payment to be made under section 34-to such registered owner a sum equal to the value as estimated by the Board of any coffee unlawfully sold by him.
