Section Text

In Section 17, sub-section (1), clause (a), in sub clause (i), the words "exceeds Rupees Five lakhs but does not exceed Rupees Twenty lakhs", shall be substituted by Consumer Protection (Amendment) Act, 2002.(62 of 2002) , Published in the Gazette of India, Extra., Part II, Section 1, dated 18th December, 2002, pp. 1-15, No. 74.
