Powers of Government under the provision are exercisable by all District Magistrates in M. P. and by the District Magistrates of Kanpur, Agra, Varanasi, Allahabad, Lucknow, Meerut, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Moradabad, Jhansi, Saharanpur, Dehra Dun and Bulandshahr inU. P.-see M. P. Gaz., 17-1- 1969, Pt. I. p. 180 and U. P. Government Gazette. 8-1-1969. Pt. I, p. 206. Director of Civil Defence and the Civil Defence Controllers in Rajasthan so authorised - see Raj. Gaz., 13-11-69, Pt. I, (Kha), p. 499 (3).
