Any trial by a court-martial under the provisions of this Act shall be deemed to be a judicial proceeding within the meaning of sections 193 and 228 of the Indian Penal Code ( 45 of 1860) and the court-martial shall be deemed to be a court within the meaning of1[sections 345 and 346 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I 973 ( 2 of 1974)].
