(1) This Act may be called the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 2007.

(2) It shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.

1. Enforcement date for the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 2007 as per notification no: SO152(E) dated 28.01.2008, is 1st day of February, 2008.
