Panchayat Electoral Registration offices, means an officer appointed as such by the State Election Commissioner under sub-s. (1) of s. 6 of the West Bengal State Election Commission Act, 1994 (West Bengal Act 8 of 1994) and includes an Assistant Panchayat Electoral Registration Officer.
