The averments of the complaint are that the complainant let on hire his bus bearing registration No. AP 26W 2449 to APSRTC and he obtained insurance policy from the opposite party insurance company vide policy bearing No.151204/31/04/06243 on 27.2.2005 and he got renewed the policy for the period from 27.2.2005 to 26.2.2006. The bus involved in an accident on 28.2.2005 causing death of two persons on account of which a petition seeking for compensation of Rs.7,50,000/- was filed before MACT which awarded a sum of Rs.3,90,000/- and Rs.3,87,000/- on 5.2.2008. 3.
