Judgment:
ORAL ORDER
{As per Hon'ble Mr. Justice P.Lakshmana Reddy, Vice Chairman }
Heard Ms.S.Anuradha, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. G. Jayaprakash Babu, learned standing counsel for the respondents.
2. The grievance of the applicant is that though he was selected for the post of Safaiwala and he was asked to fill in the attestation forms for verification of antecedents, no appointment order has been issued and ultimately he was informed that the entire notification itself is cancelled and that when he made representation requesting for cancellation, no reply has been given so far.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the matter may be disposed of with a direction to dispose of the representation submitted by the applicant furnishing the reasons. As seen from the records the applicant was informed that he was provisionally selected as Safaiwala and he is required to submit an attestation form. Therefore, it is obligatory on the part of the respondents to inform the reasons for cancellation of the entire selection when one of the selected candidates made such representation asking for reasons. Hence, we consider that this is a fit case to dispose of the application at the stage of admission with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation made by the applicant on 15.02.2007 and 21.07.2007 within one month from the date of receipt of the order.
4. Accordingly the OA is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
